Abstract

Abstract: Transparency in disclosing the financial statements is required by decision makers asappropriate balance and adequate information so important to the company . In the presentfinancial statements , management took accounting method with a specific purpose . This isoften referred to manajamen profit . Management actions earning management raises a numberof scandals in corporate financial reporting .In this study, a sample of Islamic banking with theobservation period 2010 to 2013. The analytical method used is multiple regression method . Theresults showed that simultaneous ( F test ) independent variables used in this study are firm size ,debt to equity ratio , return on assets , the size of the company , the audit committee and the auditof ownership has a significant effect on the occurrence of earnings management in the company .Test results on an individual basis using the t test showed that the only variable return on assetsand institutional ownership has a significant effect on the occurrence of earnings management inthe company .Keywords : Earnings Management , Profitability , Leverage , Firm Size , The Audit Committee ,Institutional Ownership

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of the research is to analyze the relational marketing strategy from the application of new media facebook in the private university Facebook account @universitasmercubuanajakarta. 5575 post and comment within the year 2013 collected, 51 irrelevant data excluded from the analysis, and finally there are 1412 post and 4112 comment analyzed. There are 756 accounts generated the post, @universitasmercubuanajakarta post 872 times and there are 84% (633) accounts post 1 time, furthermore there are 97% (735) personal account and 3% (21) organization account. The gender of the 735 personal account are 40% (297) woman and 60% (438) man. There are 2015 account generated the comment, @universitasmercubuanajakarta comments 456 times and there are 90% (1805) accounts comment 1-2 times, furthermore there are 99,99% (2011) personal account and less than 0,01% (4) organization account. The gender of the 2011 personal account are 37% (748) woman and 63% (1267) man. These post and comment interaction confirmed the relational marketing activities @universitasmercubuanajakarta, further cluster analysis conducted and confirmed the application of relational marketing strategy within four main themes which are The Student Achievement, The University External Cooperation, The Employee Class Program & Facilities, and The Information for Prospective & New Students.Keywords: Relational Marketing, @universitasmercubuanajakarta, Facebook Post & Comment, Provalis Research QDA Miner, Cluster Analysis

Abstract

Abstract: The success of teachers in performing their duties also mean the institution's successin education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizationalcommunication, work motivation, compensation on the performance of teachers. This researchwas explanatory quantitative research method using correlation and regression model. Thisresearch at SMA Yuppentek 1 Tangerang involved 69 teachers as respondents. The resultsshowed that organizational communication, motivation and compensation partially andsimultaneously have significant effects on the performance of teachers. Abstract

Abstract: PT. Indonesia Nippon Seiki Supply Chain Performance related to supplying Passthrough good, based on three categories, the quantity, ontime delivery and quality, the performance can not reach 100% performance. Management said that to reach perfect performance PT. INS must take high cost consequenses. There are too many factor that must be considered, so three point of view are not enough to describe the performance of the supply chain of the Passthrough goods. In this research, the writer tries to propose some Key performance indicator (KPI) based on Balanced Scorecard approach related to Supply Chain issues. All of these KPI‟s will be choosen by some management of INS as the questionaire respondent, using Analitical Hirarchy Process (AHP) and then after the proper KPI have determined the performance will be calculated and will be sumarized using Objective Matric Weighting, to get an objective analysis of the performance of Passthrough good Supply chain in PT. INS. The result of the research, there are 22 KPIs that are used to calculate the perfomace of Passthrough good Supply chain in PT. INS based on Balanced Scorecard approach. The research shows that the performance of Passthrough good Supply chain year 2012 is low but in 2013, the performance tend to be increase. PT. INS must concern to resolve the customer complaint because this KPI tend to be not good. But in generally the performance is growing better and have a lot of chances for improvement.Keywords: Performance, supply chain, Key Performance Indicator, Balanced Scorecard

Abstract

Abstrak: The study examines the effect of work motivation, career development, workenvironment on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with job satisfaction as interveningvariable. The research approach is a quantitative approach through the method of data collectionusing questionnaires. The sample was totally 158 respondents. Research using analysis ofStructural Equation Model (SEM) that run through AMOS 18.00 software in seeing the influenceof exogenous variables on endogenous variables. The results showed that work motivation in apositive and significant effect on job satisfaction, career development is not a positive andsignificant effect on job satisfaction, work environment in a positive and significant effect on jobsatisfaction, work motivation is not positive and significant effect on organizational citizenshipbehavior, career development is a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenshipbehavior, work environment is not positive and significant effect on organizational citizenshipbehavior, job satisfaction is positively and significantly influence the organizational citizenshipbehavior and work environment through job satisfaction has positive influence on organizationalcitizenship behavior. Other findings are organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) can beincreased due to the work environment, but on the condition that the employees are satisfiedfirst.Keywords: Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), Job Satisfaction, Work Motivation,Career Development, Work Environment.

Abstract

Abstract: PT Pertamina Gas is a company involved in the midstream and downstream sectors ofgas industry in Indonesia that unreleased from problems that have a relation with level of gastransmission availability which determines the quality and productivity of company intransmitting gas until arrive to the end users. However, maintenance in turbine machinesfrequently conduct reactively which machines fixed if occured a damage (breakdownmaintenance). This is can be seen at availability levels that very fluctuative and declining inmarch 2013 and also december 2013. Therefore, maintenance improvement is required withTotal Productive Maintenance approach so that the gas transmission availability will reach thetarget. TPM is an innovative approach to maintenance that optimizes equipment effectiveness,eliminates breakdowns and promotes autonomous maintenance. According to the primary andsecondary data analysis, planned maintenance programs (one of pillar in TPM) are the maincause of declining the equipment availability in PT Pertamina Gas Western Java Area especiallybecause of spare part problems.Based on this, in order to have gas transmission avalability reachthe target, company needs to conduct Total Productive Maintenance program which includefocused maintenance, autonomous maintenance and planned maintenance.Keywords: Availability, Total Productive Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, FocusedMaintenance, Planned Maintenance

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to identify and analyze the influence of green marketing mix strategy and product knowledge on purchasing decisions, consumer studies Nokia phone in Jakarta. Type of research design used was descriptive research, conducted at the biggest mobile phone mall ITC Roxy Mas, with 130 respondence during the period May to July 2014. Sampling techniques used was purposive sample to respondents who purchased Nokia. Thetools was used for the quantitative study, was a questionnaire. The final conclusion of green products, percieved price, distribution channel, promotion, and product knowledge was influence the purchasing decision either partially or simultaneously. The highest correlation dimensions of matrics coefficient was distribution channels variable with the purchase decision was extensive knowledge dimensions toward a personal factor which gained 0557. This research concluded that the company must to maintain the quality of Nokia phones that are characterized by eco-friendly at an affordable price, and introduce again to consumers through promotion and the right distribution channels, in order to increase consumer knowledge on environmental friendly products and ultimately stimulate to buy a Nokia phone.Keyword: Product, Percieved Price, Distribution Channel, Promotion, Product Knowledge, Purchase Decision

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to determine the effect of computer self-efficacy (CSE) on the qualitysystem, the quality of information, quality of service, usage, satisfaction and impact of individualusers by using a model of success Delone and McLean information systems. The studyconducted on students of system users of e-learning in higher education. The population used inthis study amounted to 144 686 students with a total sample of 178. The sampling method usingproportional random sampling. The analysis tool used is the Generalized Structured ComponentAnalysis (GSCA). The results showed that CSE significant effect on the quality system, thequality of information, quality of service, usage and impact of the individual. Quality systemshave a significant effect on the quality of information, usage, and user satisfaction. The qualityof information significantly influence the use and user satisfaction. Service quality significantlyinfluence the use and user satisfaction. User satisfaction significantly influence the individualimpact. The results also show that the better CSE students will further improve system quality,information quality, service quality, use, and impact of the individual. The better the students'perceptions of the quality system, the quality of information, and the quality of service willincrease the usage and user satisfaction. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to examine differences between abnormal returnsbefore and after Idul Fitri holidays on Jakarta Islamic Index stock (JII) compared with shares isnot including the Jakarta Islamic Index stock (Non JII). This research is event study withcomparative analysis between abnormal return Jakarta Islamic Index stocks (JII) and that is notincluded in the Jakarta Islamic Index stocks (Non JII). The time of research is about five daysbefore Idul Fitri holidays and five days after the Idul Fitri holidays with period five years from2009 until 2013. The result of this research is the abnormal returns after Idul Fitri holidays ishigher than before the Idul Fitri holidays, both for JII stock and non JII . Abstract

Abstract: The study sought to establish and analyze the impacts of brand awareness, brandassociations, perceived quality and brand loyalty toward purchase decision-making process of Yamaha V-Ixion both partially and simultaneously. This statistic parametric study adopted a quantitative method that used a multiple linear regression in which the data were processed by program. The population used in this study are all users of Yamaha V-Ixion in Jakarta whose number is unknown. The sample was 80 users of Yamaha V-Ixion located in West Jakarta Municipality. A structured questionnaire with Likert scale was used to collect data which consisted of 34 questions arranged based on indicators and dimensions derived from each independent variables. Findings of this study showed that brand awareness, perceived quality and brand loyalty had significant effect in partially toward purchase decision-making process of Yamaha V-Ixion. Furthermore, brand awareness, perceived quality and brand loyalty had significant effect in simultaneously toward purchase decision-making process Yamaha V-Ixion.Keywords: Brand Awareness, Brand Association, Perceived Quality, Brand Loyalty and purchase decision-making process
